I am a psychologist licensed in the state of California. This means that I completed a doctoral program in clinical psychology, a self-driven intensive research project called a “dissertation,” 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience, and passed two insane tests. In addition, I am required by the state to complete 36 hours of continuing education training every two years.
I completed my doctoral degree in 1999 at The California School of Professional Psychology (or CSPP for short). In 2000, CSPP and the United States International School merged and became Alliant International University (in case you want to look it up). I have completed advanced training and/or research in the following areas:
• The Treatment of Trauma and PTSD
• Couples/Marital Therapy
• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues
• Interpersonal Violence (Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault/Rape)
• Women’s Health
• HIV/AIDS
My license number is PSY16920. You can check with the California Board of Psychology to verify that I have had no complaints or judgments made against me by clicking the link below and following the directions on the website. This website is updated often, so you can be sure you are getting the latest information.
